Hi there. Lauren Bosc’s the name feminist theorizing is the game. I’m a fifth year student pursuing an Honours BA in Women’s and Gender Studies. On the side, I have been extremely involved with the University of Winnipeg Students' Association as a co-coordinator of the LGBT* Centre on campus for two years, helping create and initiate programs such as Queer Peer Support and the

Positive Space Campaign, and am currently President of the UWSA. I value overachieving and stressing myself out to the max, and plan on graduating this year from the sweat of it all. I never really thought I would spend hours talking about vomit’s connection to feminist theory, or writing a final paper about the pro-side of necrophilia, or becoming addicted to theory, but it gets better with every passing day (no sarcasm intended here). Overall, I enjoy talking/learning/writing/teaching topics with a feminist viewpoint, and broadening the minds of the poor souls who are not privileged to call themselves a Women’s and Gender Studies student. Oh, and long walks on the beach.
